Obstructive Sleep Apnea, or OSA, is the blockage of airflow during sleep. This is caused by the muscles that support the tongue relaxing into a position where your tongue blocks your airflow and your ability to breathe regularly when sleeping. We have a series of steps we take to assist in the process of diagnosis, including an at-home sleep test and an in-office sleep evaluation.

If we determine that you would benefit from an oral appliance or oral mandibular advancement device, we will fit you for it in-office. Once you are fitted for this device it will keep your tongue from blocking your airways and allow for unobstructed breathing while sleeping. This appliance is ideal for victims of OSA who can’t tolerate the CPAP machine that is commonly administered to Sleep Apnea patients. You deserve to sleep better without worrying about your breathing, and we’re here to help.
